101 Copenhagen is a Danish design brand based in Copenhagen, founded in 2017 by Tommy Hyldahl and Kristian Sofus Hansen. The aesthetic pairs Scandinavian form with Japanese minimalism, drawing on Hyldahl’s background in fashion trend forecasting and Hansen’s training at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts alongside time spent living and studying in Japan. The range spans furniture, lighting, decoration and dinnerware, with a strong focus on handcrafted glass, ceramic and wooden pieces.
