Good design considers how a space feels, how it functions, and how it performs over time. Koselig Design Studio brings sustainability thinking to residential projects, helping you create a home that adapts as your life does.
Hi, I’m Allie. Designer, sustainability advocate, and founder of Koselig Design Studio, an interior design consultancy based between Melbourne and the Sunshine Coast.
The name koselig (pronounced “koosh-lee”) comes from the Norwegian language and speaks to warmth, comfort, and belonging. Qualities we believe every home should embody, not just in how it looks, but in how it performs.
With over eight years of hands-on experience building and renovating homes, I’ve seen firsthand how orientation, insulation, ventilation, and material choices shape a space’s comfort and resilience. That experience drives our approach: combining interior design with a practical understanding of sustainable housing principles.
Sustainability is rarely perfect, especially within real-world budgets and constraints. But informed, intentional decisions can create meaningful change. Our role is to guide you through what’s possible, helping you prioritise what matters most and make choices aligned with your values and future goals.

We offer Consults for Good, a 40-minute online consultation for a $100 donation. It’s a chance to discuss your project, explore your options, and see if we’re the right fit to work together. Your donation supports community-focused initiatives, making this a practical first step for your project and a meaningful contribution.
