This showcase explored how pet owners can create beautiful, functional sanctuaries for their pets without sacrificing space. With around two-thirds of Australians sharing their homes with pets and a notable increase in pet registrations in Melbourne, this exhibition couldn’t be more timely.

Never Too Small collaborated with 11 talented designers worldwide to create multifunctional pet furniture from a single piece of plywood.

These designs are not just pet houses or beds—they transform into storage units, seating, shelves, or planters. It’s a brilliant example of how smart design can prolong the life of furniture typically seen as single-use.
